Welcome to Ireland's "Sunny South East"
Home to some of Irelands most beautiful golden beaches, most of which have been awarded the Blue Flag status, the South East is truely a tourist paradise.
Ireland is awash with history and culture and the South East is no exception. Prone to alot of invasions in years past the ruins of City Walls dating from the Norman & Anglo period including six towers which once enclosed the entire city, are still standing in Waterford.
Like most seaside areas the South East boasts many activities. Ranging from surfing, fishing, Sea Kayaking to spending time in Tramore's Amusement park.
Carlow is a busy market town with excellent shopping facilities. Local attractions include many castles and monastic ruins such as Carlow Castle. Visit the River Barrow where you can hire Canoes.
For those of you that prefer a golfing vacation then why not try Mount Juliet Estate - Golf Club in Kilkenny a course played by world class golfers.
Kilkenny City is also home to the magnificient Kilkenny Castle. The castle tour is a must see for any visitor, with the Long Gallery displaying portraits of historic figures and the beautifully landscaped gardens.
Tipperary is divided into two regions Tipperary North and Tipperary South. Tipperary South offers beautiful scenery with the Galtee Mountains in the south of the county and the River Suir flowing through it. For visitors South Tipperary has angling, golf, mountain walking. The famous Rock of Cashel, stands looking over the town of Cashel and is it a great tourist attraction.
